ABC MotorCredit serving Ohio will once again lend their support to the fourth annual Walk for Babies.  ABC MotorCredit has been an official sponsor since the walk began four years ago.

Funds raised during the Walk for Babies are used to help Akron Children’s Hospital purchase equipment and fund programs for the children in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  When newborns are critically ill or premature, they need the intensive care provided by a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, such as the one at Akron Children’s Hospital. Each year, Akron Children’s specially equipped ambulance and pediatric transport team transfer about 600 newborns in northeast Ohio to the hospital’s Level III NICU.

Last year, Walk for Babies raised over $50,000 for Akron Children’s Hospital.  They hope to exceed that record this year.  Over the past 3 years, Walk for Babies has raised almost $150,000 for Akron Children’s Hospital.
